If the damages exceed your deductible, your insurance company will pay that excess amount of your loss. You may simply decide not to make the claim and pay the entire loss with your own funds.

Max is quite right...it is better not to claim for a loss that you can bear out of your own funds. Forwarding your insurance claim for a smaller loss might even affect your insurance cost in the long run.
