Insurance Dropped me and Denied my Claim

I am a military family member and the government contracted out to have our household goods shipped to our next destination. While the packers were packing, they made numerous comments on how nice our home was and how many shoes I had; specifically. Well, four months later when we got our shipment, approx 20 boxes was missing; including over 90% of my shoes. All in all the total amount being claim was about 30k. I first call every company involved to see if maybe the boxes was lost or left behind and no one had any listing of them. The inventory numbering system was off and some of the numbers were stuck to the items inside the boxes. Anyway, I filed a claim with the carrier that transported my items and they denied me because my husband collect swords and they said it "may"have been confiscated, well..... anytime anything is confiscated, you are given a receipt stating what was confiscated and when you will be able to collect. I got a notarized letter from customs that stated nothing was confiscated. After all that they stop answering my calls and emails.
2.) I filed a claim with my insurance company. They took my claim, twice, over the phone because I am in the middle east and did ask me if I had a police report for the missing items and I told them no because I'm overseas and it will be difficult for me to do it from here, but they continue to proceed with emails and phone calls. They also stated that the military will have to adjudicate first before they proceed.
3) I started a claim with the military and they told me the same thing, now two months has passed, so when I called my insurance company back they had no info on the claim and they send me an escrow checking stating that they dropped me as a client because I no longer live in the home and I have a renter there. So, my claim was closed without my knowledge, no paperwork the entire time, until the escrow check.
4) I reopened the claim and we proceed, without any assistance from anyone and fill out all the proper forms and when I finally submitted it, I was denied because I was told to provide a police report within 90days, I never received anything in the mail stating that nor anything telling me my claim was closed.
I only received 6k from my claim, and I don't think that it is fair that we are being treated this way. These people came into my home and robbed me and when I thought I was covered I wasn't. Where should I go or how should I proceed.

I'm very sorry about your situation. One really local intelligent agency that I'm associated with is Preferred Insurance Center. Search them on google, find a number, and call to ask questions...they're always very helpful. Good Luck.
