I have a question regarding car insurance. This past Saturday I hit my parents mailbox, damaging my car. Obviously my parents are not filing a claim against me. They have already replaced the damaged mailbox. Does the insurance adjuster either call my parents, or go out to see the damage (even though it was already replaced)? Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance!!!

They probably won't. Technically they should call your parents and verify that no liability claim will be filed but most will just use your info that no claim will be filed as it's assumed you know your parents pretty well and it's just a mailbox.

The adjuster should call your parents but probably will not. If they do call it will be just to verify that no claim will be filed against you. After this he will give an estimate on how much it will cost to fix the vehicle and send you on your way to the shop to get it fixed.
