This is a popular question, but so far I can't find a clear answer.
I live in Oklahoma. I was driving a friends vehicle and someone ran into me while I was at a complete stop at a light. They were issued a traffic ticket. Their insurance company accepted 100% liability.
I was injured and have about 5k in medical bills.
My friends vehicle I was driving had 5k in medical payments which was extended to me. That wiped out my bills.
I have three different auto insurance policies personally, 1 with $100k in med pay, another with $5k in med pay and another with $30k in med pay.
So my question is, can I get paid 3 times for my medical bills under my own insurance policies?
I was in a wreck a few years ago where the insurance company told me that I was entitled to double dip, and I only had two policies at that time. So I'm trying to figure out if I can legally tripple dip, or in this case, quad dip as there are 4 med pay policies in place, plus my health insurance.
