I live in Fl and I am on my parents policy as a added driver with Geico, I took over payments on there truck for them. I had a accident with my son on 7/19 which totaled the truck. Mom was layed off dad was to. We were called by a medical adjuster which we can never reach now. We were both seen at the hospital with injuries I was 3 weeks out of work per dr.. Several people have told me that my parents will get a check for this, under the PIP well minus the hospital and dr bills, is this true, I asked my parents but they said no that no money will be paid to them, that they didn't know what I was talking about. Feel awful to ask, but something is fishy here, They have been out looking at travel trailer, I have paid 3 yrs on this truck for them, and the insurance to, to help them, and I now have no vehicle with a family of 6, Rental goes back on the 8th with 9 dr appts for my son still to do this month. PLEASE help with my question

PIP should address the medical bills (no payments to anyone other then the medical providers) and 80% of your loss wages (payable to you).
You need to call the PIP adjuster and leave a message. If you don't hear from them the following day, call and ask for that person's adjuster. Rinse and repeat until you have someone high enough that they speak to you. This should not take more then a couple of days. If you are still not getting anywhere, file a complaint with the Dept of Financial Responsibility.
