Can someone who was convicted of a sex offense in virginia get a license to sell life insurance? This person's crime was non violent and was internet based, solicitation for sex from a minor basically however no actual victim as this was a sting. This person has forgone 5 years of treatment and finished the program successfully and this crime waa committed 11 to 12 years ago. No other criminal history what so ever and a model citizen now raising a family.

The 1033 is the form that you will need to submit to the state to find out if allowed in the insurance business.Usually online they will list what crimes are not able to be considered to get a insurance license.Best of luck to each of you.

I had a misdemeanor 15 years ago that was dismissed 9 years ago now but I am still registered as a sex offender. Will it prevent me from getting a Caifornia state insurance license?

does anyone have any experience with being approved for an insurance license with a misdemeanor?
Did you submit all paperwork in relation? or did you only disclose?
I have two b.s. misdemeanor convictions and only have a couple pages related to them from my last days dealing with them and going to the courts to get certified copies is out of the question, Im hoping to just disclose and provide what I have
I years ago I was convicted of felon. I was in car accident
And my passenger was injured. I had a few drinks, so I was charged with a aggravate assault. I'm no longer on probation
I've changed my life. And really trying to move on with my life.
