Hi friends, I have a question about a insurance topic which makes no sense to me...what characteristics of insurable risk is there for flood risk for cars but not for homes?
- loss is accidential
- definite and measurable
- no catastrophe potential
My guess would be that the catastrophe potential is smaller for cars. What would you say?

Flood causes enormous damages to a car. A car can get totally destroyed as flood can cause rapid damage to cars rather than homes. So, generally the insurable factor of flood risk is more in the case of cars compared to houses.
