Depends on the type of policy. Usually if there was damage to the roof from a storm and this is why it's leaking then it would be covered.

If the rain and storm caused the leak then it'll be covered as T says. But if the condition of your roof was poor due to lack of maintenance and the roof gave in to the natural forces, it may not be covered. the insurance company may blame it on negligence on your side and deny claim. So, it depends on a lot of factors.
