A drunk driver hit and totalled my legally parked car 2 weeks ago.
My car is a 1995 Nissan 300 ZX Twin Turbo, fully loaded (T-Top, 17" wheels, CD player) in a rare color of cobalt green. It was in MINT condition (only 7,800 miles!) --
I took excellent care of it. Looked brand new. FYI, the police took a report and affirmed her as drunk with a sobriety test.
I want to get the maximum money for my loss. And I am really pissed off! What do I do? Thanks in advance for your help and advice!

Consult your own insurance company to conduct an evaluation on your car. Based on the adjustor's evaluation you can claim on the other party insurance. You are always open to negotiate. If the other party insurance is not willing to settle soon enough, you can even choose to subrogate.
