My brother made the car accident, but my grandfather and i was the own of the car. Can they sue my grandfather and me if the insurance said that it was over the limit.

In most states, yes. But even if they could, it seldom happens. Also, your carrier won't pay anything without obtaining a release from the other party (if policy limits were ever an issue).

Do you? How could anyone know what is financial best for you? My advise, cross that bridge if it happens. It's _highly_ unlikely.
