My brother made the car accident, but my grandfather and i was the own of the car. Can they sue my grandfather and me if the insurance said that it was over the limit.

In most states, yes. But even if they could, it seldom happens. Also, your carrier won't pay anything without obtaining a release from the other party (if policy limits were ever an issue).

Thank You. I have another question. we only live in an apartment. Do i need to file bankruptcy if they bill me the medical bill?
