We just totalled our 2006 Silverado, with 97K miles. It was an LT V8 Vortec Max, it had pretty much everything on it. They are trying to tell us that it is only worth 17,700. If that were the case I would say ok but here in Cheyenne, Wy you can't find them that cheap. They have their radius for pretty much all of Wyoming and Colorado. Funny thing is these trucks are so popular you can only find 2 at a dealership in that radius and the one they are using as the main comparable is not comparable at all.
What is there to do, I have the report and there are a few options they missed but is it really fair for them to take a 400 mile radius which covers two states, with different weather and need.

Have you found one in your area for sale? If none are for sale in your area than what would you expect them to pull from?
