My divorce got finalized 9 months back. My ex husband has his car registered and insured under my name. During the divorce proceedings I overlooked this detail and let him keep the car. Now his insurance company and his lienholder is calling me up and demanding that I pay the premium which he is supposed to pay but hasn't been for the last 6 months. I explained the situation and the lienholder threatened to sue me for everything I got. What do I do? Is there any way to get the license plates?

This has nothing to do with insurance other then you are the one with the policy so your insurance is looking for you to pay and it appears you are the one with the loan so your lien holder is also requiring that you pay. Everything else has to do with your divorce and financial situation.
