Act of God

My daughter's car got damaged by a dumpster that was blown off a ramp onto her car. The business forgot to lock the wheels. Insurance company of course quickly denied due to act of nature. Isn't this just like a shopping cart that gets blown into a car? I know that companies cover this claim.

First of all, this is not an act of God. It is the result of negligence on the part of the business owner who forgot to lock the wheels of the dumpster. If your daughter’s car is covered for collision, her insurance company has to honor the claim. If you have filed against the business owner’s insurance company and they are refusing to compensate you, you can file a case with the small claims court and a complaint with the state insurance department.
