Hi, I am new here. My Daughter lost her license recently due to a non-driving under age drinking ticket. I am wondering if we will have to notifiy our insurance company when she gets her license back and what the aproximate increase will be if/when they find out. We live in Wisconsin. I would appreciate any feedback from someone who has been through this.
Thanks :D
Thanks :D

Hi !
If this was your daughter's first offense, the suspension of her license could even be 6 months long in wisconsin. But it could even be enforced with classes, judge-enforced counseling, or a specific judgment.
There is an open container law applicable to both drivers and passengers, while a vechicle is running no open containers of alcohol are permitted inside.Incase she is a multiple offender her vehicle may be seized n then disposed.

hi there! There is a statewise information section for car insurance related queries. It also depicts some associated data and important contact numbers. I feel this might be of some use to you or your daughter.
You just need to choose your state over here in order to get the information displayed.

hey..I'm quite sure that her probationary license will remain suspended for 6 months if she has received 12 or more points in 12 months. These restrictions are usually applicable to her till she is 18 or the first 9 months but may be extended depending on the cases where she has got a ticket or her prob license gets suspended or revoked..bye for now ! Hey I think.. I can still add to the above informations !
As you already know my friend, teenagers who get entangled in accidents or have any speeding ticket will certainly cost more to insure.
It is quite natural for us parents to remove our teenage son/daughter and the vehicle to any subsidiary company which specializes in covering for high-risk drivers. I'm sure this would hold down the insurance costs for other vehicles belonging to the family.
You should also check out with your insurance carrier if the discounts offered by insurers for drivers who had attended any driver-safety classes are available to your daughter !
Otherwise..I'm sorry to say the increase in your daughter's insurance bill may vary from several hundred dollars to several thousand dollar every year. The sooner your daughter learns that theres a bit of responsibility associated with driving, the better driver shes gonnabe for the future..
thanks for consulting me !
