family homestead historical home sustained a fire. the same policy has been in effective over 56 yrs just transferred from my parents to my brother when mother pasted away. confusing situation but my brother pasted away leaving me as sister beneficary. I had not taken over home as matters had to be seattled before and was doing so when home had fire. Ins. co. wanted it to be in estate since the policy was in brother name and not been handed to me yet no will or probate was in effect. I was placed adminstrator over estate . a request for my lawyer to set a meeting with the ins. attorney and adjustor but never made. they wanted me to take a loan out to do repairs as an addemdum was attached to the policy that all repairs had to be made by holder and then reimburst when complete I could not afford a loan of 250,000 . the policy was said to be a cash policy as the repairs for replacement would be to expensive now thru addemdum they say it is a replacement but have not seattled and refuse to reply to me and my lawyer quit. now have to tear down home and city wants to me to pay contrator 28,000 to do this and the estate has no money and if not paid they will put lien on the home we live in now. cant find and attorney cant get ins. co. to reply and have till 17th tillmeeting an they take over tear down and bill me . me the adminstrator losing my home and me as beneficary losing my homestead. what can i do no claims where paid no medical bills paid and only market value of 45,000 paid made an offer but i had to do all repairs and then be reimburst but no meeting to discuss w adjjstor was made. cant sell home cant close estate and never signed a release.

First... please start with proper grammar and punctuation. That would actually make your post readable.

Even after that, it's still all over the place.

Insurance policies don't tell a person to make repairs and only then will they pay. Closest I can think to that is that a replacement cost policy pays actual cash value until the repairs are made and then it pays the difference.

No medical bills paid???? Why are you mentioning medical bills?

...and only market value of 45,000 paid made an offer but i had to do all repairs and then be reimburst but no meeting to discuss w adjjstor was made. cant sell home cant close estate and never signed a release

Your post is really just unreadable. If you want help, please post something that makes sense.
