Hello, I was just in a collision a few weeks ago. I went threw a yellow light(so said my 13 year old), and a man t-boned me in the middle of the intersection. I did not remeber what had really happened. There was no camera or anything but a driver who was behind the man who hit me said that even tho the man could have slowed down to miss me, his light was green. We had to get a new car, and a new insurance policy. When I recieved my letter from my new insurance company for the car, there was the mark on my record. However, since i was found at fault in the police report, I was confused because it says that that accidnet is "non-chargeable at fault accident". what does that mean? do I not get a point on my licence?

How the officer views the accident and how the insurance company uses the accident information to address your rates are not really the same thing.

non-chargeable at fault accident"

Sounds like your insurance company viewed you as at fault but would not increase your rates because of the loss. You can call your old agent and ask about this.

It means you were "at fault" for a traffic collision, but no one was injured.
