Guys- seriously... there was a legit question asked. Be a bit more, ummmmm, professional?
To the OP: check with your state's insurance division. Most states will allow you to reinstate the license within typically a year of its' lapse. If it's been more than a year, you'll likely have to start all over as if you've never possessed a license.
If you can tell me your state, I can give you specifics if you find out how long you've been expired.

OK, OK... it wasn't technically a question. More of a statement that was "kind of" a question... sort of, well... in a different kind of way, mostly a statement that could, at times, resemble a quasi-question, I guess, but only with a little imagination. I'll give you guys that much. BUT! I still answered it, I think.

In InsTeacher's defense, he did attempt an answer. I thought about doing so, but chose to follow tcope's lead instead, on the basis that there was no "?" attached.
After all, a person who was once licensed ought to know that their license must be renewed after one or two years.

You have gone through the process of obtaining a license, you realize there is some coorelation between renewing it and selling insurance and you post that it's expired and you want to sell. I don't see how you get any question out of that. How could the person not know.... renew your license.
In my defense... I _acknowledged_ the post... which I thought was appropriate. I also shared a well known fact about myself.
