my step daughter is on our insurance she lives with us visits her father everyother weekend and he is letting her drive his csr which she is not insured on is this LEGAL

Is what legal? To drive a car with the permission of its owner? Of course that's legal.

Does daddy have to list her as a driver living in his household? No, she is not in that situation. Should he list her as an occasional driver? That would probably be advisable, but it isn't required.

If your daughter is insured under your policy, then she has the same coverage when she drives daddy's car as when she is driving yours.

One last question: How would you know whether she is covered under daddy's insurance or not?
