I was recently involved in an accident. The other driver denies fault, so i wanted to get the opinions of others on how best to deal with the situation.
This is a quick break down of the situation
Travelling on a 4 Lane rd
Fusion was in the 3rd lane from left with car in a stopped position, had to go into 2nd lane to make left turn, truck in front of Fusion in the 3rd lane, SUV stopped in 2nd lane with 2 car spaces worth of room in front of vehicle to the other vehicle at a light waiting to change. I signalled left and drove my car forward into the 2nd lane still at a stopped light for over 30 sec. The driver in the SUV motioned to continue, i continued and when light changed SUV went very fast straight into Fusion. Damage done to the left bumper ripped it off. This type of damage could only occur if struck from the side. The HIT caused the Fusion to move to the right hitting the truck rear bumper which was chrome. There was no possible way for Fusion to hit the truck in that position unless the truck backed up into the Fusion. The truck had no visible damage and left. The SUV had damage from the front fender passenger all the way to the rear bumper indicating scratching of another vehicle all the way through. If Fusion had struck the SUV front on the damage would not be the entire side of the car but the IMPACT point. The type of damage done to the Fusion indicates great force, since the car was at a stopped position at the light a large amount of acceleration had to occur.
If Fusion struck SUV vehicle would in no possible way be able to hit the truck in the 3rd lane from the side. That would mean the Fusion hit the SUV and instead of being bumped backwards from the force it was bumped to the right side hitting the rear of the truck.

Tell it to the judge. Maybe he/she can make some sense out of what you're trying to tell the world.
Traffic collisions are unique events. Things happen in a matter of seconds that seem to defy all possible logic, such as that above.
Maybe someone else would care to take the time to sort out the events described.
