live in us but visit Canada often, want to have car insureo

live us want to have car in Canada to run around in while I visit maybe 5 months of the year. How can I get insurance on it? Car is registered in Canada and I have California licence.

If the vehicle is registered in Canada, you have to obtain Canadian auto insurance.
