I was injured the othe day. I sprained my neck, shoulder and back. The doctor told me that I have arthritis in my neck. Will this affect the settlement at all?

Arthritis is an existing condition I believe, it could not make your injury 'more valuable'. Sprained muscles can eventually lead to arthritis in your neck but not immediately when the injury happens.

What makes you think you will get a settlement? Is this a workers' compensation injury? Or did you slip in the shower at home?
