I did receive the claim money for a rear-end accident, but didn't do the repairs as the damages were minimal. Now, my son (who is listed) has been in an accident today. Is there any chance that the insurer may deny to pay for the second claim or ask about the previous damages, why I didn't do the repairs and all?

Certainly there is a chance. But you don't explain any details or mention why you'd be asking. They certainly don't want to pay for the same damage again. You don't mention where the new damage is... it could be to the rear again or the front. Makes a big difference. If the new damage is to the rear again then the carrier won't want to pay for the same damage. But it's also a question if they are told or if they know about the prior damage. If they have someone inspect the damage that person can usually tell. Certainly if the same carrier addressed the older claim and now this one then they will know. But as I said, we could guess at a million different situations as you don't mention any details.

The insurance companies do not pay twice for the same damage. If you did not repair the vehicle after the first collision, the cost to repair that damage will be deducted from the cost to repair all the damage that now needs to be fixed. You have not been "harmed" by this, you have (excuse me, you had) that portion of the money already.
Attempting to claim the same damage a second time is INSURANCE FRAUD, and you and/or your son could go to PRISON for that. Insurance fraud is a FELONY!! So don't even think about asking for the money for the first damages again.
