Is there any special form of coverage that I should buy if I set out for international travel? I intend to take a break soon for around 4 months.

Perhaps the most important thing is to make sure that your health insurance will work anywhere in the world. If not, you can purchase travel medical insurance at a fairly reasonable cost for a brief period of travel.

Other than that, your primary concern would be for the loss or theft of personal property you have with you. If you have a homeowner's or renter's policy, you should be OK, but you would want to check with your insurance company just to be certain.
