I’m 18 and got car insurance in my own name and I pay under $400 a month. Now my agent is asking me for the license of those who I live with though they have their own insurance policies and I have mine in my name. Also once the policy got started I was informed that I have some extra fees on top of the monthly balance as they re-ran my license and didn’t notice what my age was. The agent has also stated that if I don’t give them the license information, they will close the policy. What should I do?

It doesn’t seem suspicious to me. In general, insurance rates are based on the ages, license info and driving history of everyone living in the same house as the owner of the car (even if they don’t drive it). With the info of the other individuals it’s not possible for them to tell you the charges.
