I have a vehicle that was TOTALED by the insurance co. in May, 2010. At the time I had to sign the TITLE over to the insurance company, the Vehicle has been in my possession for 3 YEARS, "How do I obtain the title, so that it can be fixed and driven again?"
Is there a "Statute of Limitations" regarding possession, since I have had the vehicle for 3 years?
Please offer any insight regarding my situation!?
Thank you.

Not an insurance question. I'd 1) call the DMV and ask and 2) call the insurance company, let them know you still have the vehicle. You could "tell" them you feel storage charges for a reasonable time is warranted and let them know you'd be willing to "waive" then if they signed the title over to you.

$15 per day x 1095 days = $16,425. You might want to ask for that amount instead of a waiver.
