Today I came across my first accident, which involved a motorcycle. I’m completely traumatized by the entire incident. While I was making a right turn at a green light (taking a look at both sides before proceeding) this morning, a motorcycle suddenly hit my car on the passenger side leaving a big dent on my car’s passenger doors. I guess the driver and the passenger of the motorcycle jumped off before the impact. I ran over to them after getting out of my car and felt that the driver had minor bruises while the passenger was crying. After the ambulance took them out of the spot, the officer told me that the driver had a couple of bruises while the passenger was fine. The bike is obviously totaled but my insurance will cover that while am in a no-fault state.
My primary concern is what will happen to me once they get well? My insurance is $100k/$300k. Will they sue me?

I'm guessing that the motorcycle dropped out of the sky.... as you don't mention anything that would indicate who was at fault.... which is the main reason why someone pursues collection from another person in an accident. The bike is obviously totaled but my insurance will cover that while am in a no-fault state.
99% of the time this is not what "no fault means" and the other 1% it would be the complete opposite of this.
Will they sue me?
As mentioned in prior posts... I gave up reading minds and predicting the future.suddenly hit my car on the passenger side leaving a big dent on my car’s passenger doors
If you are making a right turn from the right lane it's not normal that you can be hit on the passenger side of your vehicle. So there is much more to this then you mention.Add your comment
