I've two cars - a Honda and a Chevrolet. Can I have two different policies from two separate carriers? Or. do I need to have both from one?

I don't know if anything that would prevent you from having two policies. It's going to be considerably more expensive to have policies with two different carriers.

What is the reason or rationale for your question? On its face, as tcope has said, the total cost would be significantly higher -- as much as 20% or so.
