What is the best way to compare car insurance quotes online?

Is there any reliable website where I can check and compare car insurance quotes offered by the top carriers? From my experience I know that car insurance quotes vary a lot depending on the place you reside, your car and history. I want a website where I can sort results by place, car, price and others.

I searched for car insurance comparison sites but there are a lot to choose from and that is really confusing. Please help me get a good one so that I can instantly get quotes as per my circumstances. Thanks in advance!

There is nothing reliable online like what you want. Independent agents who use multicarrier quoting systems can provide that for you. Find one locally with whom you feel comfortable and confident.

Hi

Mmm I must say I've never seen that, it depends on so many factors that I guess it would be difficult to provide accurate rates with out having all your info, and of cause as it would be a third party website it would never be able to be up-to-date with the insurance companies in any given moment... I mean the insurance companies don't exactly want you to be able to compare with that ease, so they aren't going to provide it to the website lol

I've always used online sites to get quotes form multiple carriers and then compared them side by side for the best deal based on price and coverage, as you say rates can vary a lot from one carrier to another depending on your current situation, age etc. Different companies often focus on different demographics, so you really need to get at least 5 quotes, bare minimum 3, from your local area.

If I don't already know too much about the company with the best quote, I make sure I research them online before going with them to see what others are saying.

You could go to each insurance site one by one, but The last time I used [Link deleted per TOU] there are a lot of others out there too as you say, I've used others in the past also, pretty similar really.

The button line, spend a moment to get some quotes, compare and check customer satisfaction on public opinion websites.

Good luck
