Since a week or two I've been calling around and searching online to find the cheapest quotes. I was wandering to see if anyone is having any feedback on Erie or Auto-Owners car insurance, or should I opt for a big company like Progressive or Geico. What are some others that I might check out? I was looking for a company that has great customer satisfaction rate and claim support. Are there any advantages/disadvantages of going with an independent agent?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Absolutely! All of your questions will be answered. No one here can help you more. There are no disadvantages whatsoever, unless you are working with an unlicensed agent.

Which auto insurance company is the cheapest?
There is nothing as such!!It all depends on how old you are, your zip code, driving record, credit score and other factors. Erie is pretty good for drivers with good driving history. You could try it!

This is a misstatement. There will always be an insurance company that has the lowest cost of insurance. There is no single company that has the lowest rates for all drivers in all states regardless of driving history. Using the services of a local independent agent, you stand a much better chance of finding the one that does that for you.Posted: Thu Oct 03, 2013 12:21 pm Post Subject:
It isn't always good to opt for the cheapest policy. You need to get quotes and compare so that you can get the best as per your needs.

You should consider a reputable insurance company that will be reliable during any circumstances. You definitely want to shop for the best rate available to you. However, make sure that you have a good coverage in all these areas: liability, uninsured motor vehicle, personal protection, collision, comprehensive, and others. Check for available discounts that you may be eligible, such as driver training, multi-car, Credit Union, educator, NEA, FASA, Coach Association and others.
