Saira: OK, I had a car crash on the 24th of Feb this year, my car was written off , I then received a letter from Chevrolet in April (my car models company)telling me to bring my car in as its been recalled for break issues. at the time of my crash I experienced unstable breaks. My excess was £3000 which I'm still paying for now. My insurance company (service underwriting)said to me that they would send the engineer report to Chevrolet so that they can come out an inspect my vehicle. i have now received a letter from Chevrolet saying that because in the engineer report it says ''pedal break satisfactory'' they will not be inspecting my vehicle. But i have spoken to my insurance company and was told that they haven't checked the breaks but have just written that they were fine. As a result of this my car wont be inspected and I will need to pay the £3000 still. My insurance company have lied about the report which she told my partner over the phone.
Can I sue my insurance company for lying?

Sounds like you are in the UK. You'll have to speak to a solicitor in your country about the laws there.

I also agree that in this case, the best person to advice you is an attorney. The laws vary from place to place so you need a legal professional to give you reliable information.
