Is an Adjuster's License after record sealed possible?

I was convicted of Insurance Fraud, but my record was sealed in the State of Ohio. I have since applied for an adjuster's license through a major company. I thought I passed the background check and was hired, so everything was fine. Now, I was asked by the Texas Dept of Insurance to provide the order showing my record was sealed which shows everything I was indicted for as well as the insurance fraud conviction. This happened seven years ago and my record has been sealed. Will this prevent me from getting my license? Also, since I thought I had the right now to say no to have you ever been convicted of a felony and the Department that handles the licensing process at my job wants to know what additional information I had to provide to the State Dept of Insurance because of the delay in getting my application processed. Should I disclose this information to my job as well?

Probably.

To private employers, maybe, to the federal, state, county or city government agencies, NO.

You probably should, but you don't have to. When your license is denied, that will be the end of it.
