My insurance company repaid my deductible after the case was settled. Two weeks later they sent me a check in the same amount. I called them up, and they said there is no mistake. Now, 10 months later they are asking me for the money back. Do I need to repay them?

Depends on state law, how much you can prove and how far they want to push the issue. Your argument is that you relied on their information that this was yours to keep and spend so now if they ask for it back they have caused you harm. You never asked for the money and offered to return it and they refused so at some point it becomes yours.
Your carrier can ask that the money be returned and some people may do this but I'm willing to bet you would not legally be obligated to return it. I'm also betting that they would just close the issue if it were not sent back.
