brother gone bad

my brother is the executor of my grandmother estate from seven years ago when she passed. He sold both her houses for $200,000.00 all her belongings and what she may have put in the bank. I was the only other sibling along with my mother we asked about the funds and where they went but was told to pay off her bills but she had none other than the monthly dues living at a nursing home for a few years. She was getting pensions from her and her late husbands employers which offset her housing. I asked him about the money again and never got a reply, nor did my mother. Should i and my mother recieved something after her rent was paid? She had been living in a house paid off for years and the other was free and clear also. I feel as though he took it and ran and would not disclose anything to us. A month ago he got a letter from an insurance company saying I was the only beneifiary on a annuity policy. He has not sent it to me, won't tell me the name of the insurance company and won't meet to give me the information. Can he get it and distribute funds though it's only in my name? I feel terrible and like I'm being robbed. What can I do?

SEVEN YEARS AGO? And you're just now feeling like you've been robbed? This is not an insurance question in any way. You might want to consult an attorney. You'll only be robbed for another $150-$200 for the consultation to learn that you have waited a bit too long to be concerned now.
