Does insurance co have to provide executor with details

Dad passed with 2 life insurance policies. Mom has now passed.I have found where Mom applied for both but only where she deposited one of the checks. I have requested copies of the check front and back if it was cashed. It has been 2 months and I have no answers from the insurance company. As executor do they have to provide me with that?
