What’s the difference between Bodily Injury coverage and Med Pay?

BI is paid when there is negligence by the insured and is a settlement. MP is paid regardless of liability.

Additionally, depending on your state of residence, your Med Pay may be excess over any other insurance, or it may pay regardless of any other insurance that covers your medical expenses, and may or may not be subject to subrogation.
