Hi,
My house became unlivable due to damage and had to live out. The Insurance Company making excuses not to settle the case for 8 months and I have been paying rent all this time yet the Insurance Company paid me nothing.
I also continued paying the premiums on the house all through this 8 months; Can I stop this payments?
Thank you.

You can stop... but you will no longer have insurance on the home or liability insurance to cover your actions. If there is a lien on the home your mortgage company may then force place expensive insurance on the home.

Contact the insurance company once again to settle your claim. You can seek legal help if that doesn’t work out.
