Hi friends!
In todays world the internet seems the most convenient market for all saleable products, but how reliable is it for financial products like an insurance ?

Debra dear, believe us when we keep telling people that online info is safe and it could be for just any damn thing!
Another interesting thing would be its receptivity towards the business world. Its become easier for you to log in and pick an area-specific agent or company at all times a day. It thus offers you a lot many options at one place and thus saves your time towards analyzing your insurance needs, compare and then apply online. Its actually that easy now-a-days!
thanks, Sasha T.

Hey there, Yes I agree to all thats been said above.
While you go online surfing, make sure that you create a database that depicts several quotes matching upto your needs and also the identity of an insurer. Sometimes, though less often it may turn out to be a disaster incase you come across any phony website trying to derive personal information by sporting any official logo illegally.
So its all the more important for you to search from different viewpoints. Better you look for the company's online privacy policy on the site. Incase you don't find one, you may as well contact them and ask for the same over the phone. Don't go for any business with them if they don't sound confident. God Bless, Beau_ltd.dreamz

Sounds good! But speaking in real terms, insurance online may expose your personal information as well.
Often these informations are sold or shared by one company with another and these data transferring or datasharing often has fatal consequences. Thus it becomes important for you, that the company should arrive at an agreement that no piece of your personal data would be conveyed to another company.

As some one connected with the insurance companies and insurance agencies. Finding health insurance information online can look simple and convenient. The are couple of thing to look out for. When getting insurance quotes, be careful on who you are giving your information to. Most places online that tell you that they will give a free quote, just collect your information and sell it up to 8 agent or agencies. Although it is always a good idea to talk to the agent. It is a different story then you phone and your email is spamed for next two years. Good Luck!

It is always good to do your homework...read about the various coverages online so that you have an understanding of what you want to purchase and why. I also suggest that you find an agent that you feel comfortable with as this is a person that you will or should have a good realtionship with and you should feel like you trust the person. I know easier said than done, but calling around until you "click" with someone is the only way to do it.
