My car owner/elderly parent has home health aides who are now doing ALL the driving in the parent's auto. The car owner/parent is not driving the vehicle at all. The home health aides come through an agency, but are different workers from day to day. I am getting a new auto policy and having to confront the issue I had been ignoring for a few months: who should be listed as the "Primary Driver"?
I spoke to the agent about the "Primary Driver" issue: I did not feel comfortable with any of the shoot-from-the-hip answers. With the graying of America, I have to assume this is coming up with some frequency. I do not want to get a denial of coverage or reservation of rights based on information supplied during underwriting.
What is the solution?

If you are still checking this thread for a response, please tell me exactly what those "shoot-from-the-hip" answers were.
