Hi friends,
I come from from a not so financially happy family. My mother wants me to purchase a car for the family. I dont want to ignore her request. I would like to buy a car that is cheap as well as costs less to insure. It would be very helpful if you guys can suggest me some cars that are cheap to get insured. Hope you guys understand my dilemma.

Remember this, your insurance company will also take into consideration your credit score, your loss averages, etc. The car you drive wont be the only thing to be considered.

Also if you purchase a car that is older (94,95,96) you could also just get liability on it so the insurance would be cheaper as well. Just make sure you have your agent explain all the coverages for you. Also and I do this for many of my customers, if you find a car that you think you may want to purchase call your agent and get a quote on it so you have an idea of what it is going to cost you.

hi Shane,
the community members had great suggestion about the prices of the car, so i think i don't need to add some more. but i wont post here if i can't help in some ways.
i just want to add to your concern of having cheaper car insurance. You can consider adding some safety features in your car such as safety locks, seat belts, and air bags. Most car insurance company consider this in lowering your car insurance premium. and sasha is right. there are other things that you need to consider in order for you to have cheaper car insurance. this includes your credit rating, age, occupation, etc.
So after buying the best car that suits your budget, shop around and ask some professionals on how to get cheaper car insurance.
i hope that can help..
Good Day!
PS: Your such a good and loving child... ;)
