I think the best way to understand the articles is to print out the more relevant information on paper and read them carefully instead of reading them on the computer.

I took a look at this and basically it talks about why you should have auto insurance and that you should shop around for the best rate. What is said in this article is true. Rates with various companies are ever changing, so are the discounts that the companies offer. I work with alot of comapnies and one year one will be cheaper and the next year another will. I often move clients around between the companies so that they will have the best rate avaiable at the time.

Discounts are great, there are many of them, if you have never had an accident you will most likely get a discount, the car that you own - if it has safty features like an alarm, airbags etc that will make a difference in price. How you use the car for example do you drive back and forth to work every day and how far. IF you are a good student, etc there are a ton of discounts that are avaiable, that is why an agent is a great thing to have because they are on top of these things and can do alot of the shopping for you. or you can call companies directly such as Allstate, State Farm and Nationwide, just know that, that is the only rate they can give you as if you call a broker they can quote you with multiple companies.

Hope this helps.

How does the good student discount process work?

Does the student provide the grades for the current term or the overall transcript? Will a simple copy of the grades do, or will the insurance company also call the school to check?

it would be good if you printed it out and got someone who is good at the topic to help you highlight the points, if not explain to you. it would be alot easier to understand
