I just went to an NAA information seminar last night and really didn't get a whole lot of useful information from the presenter. Can someone tell me if this is legit, I've heard some bad things on other forums. Thanks.

Hi Howler!
It is quite natural now-a-days that you'd visit a good number of forums out of which quite a few would be of no good use to you :)

It is just a matter of time and a couple of visits that get us to the real picture
about a forum. But yes when you're talking about the legitimacy of discussions, I am sure you have heard about a forum-guidance or forum-norms body, it is right there that you'll find any of their clauses would be stating how they are in no way aiming to hurt anybody or any community & that they are free of responsibilities associated with public comments!
So don't bother to visit the forum once more, rather be a part of healthier communities (be it a web community) wherein you get a chance to share and know a bit in return :)

hey, I have this feeling that you're probably referring to the Newspaper Assoc. Of America which is a social organization. So they are into a lot of things like marketing, industrial movements, newspaper operations etc. So I believe the seminar conducted by them would certainly involve the far cries of a lot of voices! And as you know - too many cooks may spoil the broth!
May be at times you'd come across discussions which prove helpful but not always...am I right ? Rudevankirsten

my friend..it would truly help us if you'd tell us about the focus of the presenter a bit. Was it around any of the state sponsored social activities?
Please share it with us. Thanks, ArindamSenIndies
