So you are getting married. :D Well dear, in to-days time insurance is available for almost everything, even for wedding also. It's nice that you have enquired about the wedding insurance. It will protect you from financial losses that may arise out of mishaps or bad weather. You can ask your local insurer about it. They may have policies fitting your requirements.
Wishing you a very happy married life.

Wedding day is the biggest day in ones life and you deserve to be the happiest one on earth on that particular day. Therefore, wedding insurance is the right thing to shop for along with your bridal dress.
Wedding insurance will protect you from the odds that may ruin your big day. It normally covers the following
Protection against ‘acts of god'-It offers protection against natural disasters. You can recover the cost involved if you are required to reschedule it for bad weather.
Protection against missing officials or vendors-it offers coverage against the financial losses that you may incur due to the non-availability of the important vendors or officials.
Protection against injuries and illnesses- On this big day you definitely don't want to miss out any of your close one. Wedding insurance also covers the losses if you are forced to reschedule your marriage because of the illness or injury an important participant.
One last note of sweetness……wedding insurance is typically inexpensive. Therefore, is saving your bank balance in more than one way. All the Best
Regards,
Juanita

Wedding insurance, although sounds funny can come extremely useful at the time of need. Wedding insurance also covers the wedding location (you have missed this out Juanita :)). Fire, electrical or any mechanical problem at the marriage site may force you to change the wedding venue. In such case, you may receive reimbursements under the wedding insurance.

Event insurance can take many forms. Wedding insurance, as we can say is a special form of event insurance which covers losses related to wedding only. It covers a single and personal event, whereas event insurance can be purchased even to cover a bigger event, like-fair.

Wedding Insurance is exactly what it sounds like – an insurance policy that covers your wedding and financially protects you against misfortune and mishap.
