Is there any type of term or life insurance I can purchase for my 84 yr. old grandfather? I don\'t think he has a policy himself. When he goes my nasty uncles aren\'t going to help pay expenses and I am sure they already have policies on him. What can I do to help with bills? PLEASE Help. And if there is I already know that the premiums will be high.

Yes.
AIG American General will issue a universal life policy on some one up to 85. He would have to pass extensive underwriting requirements.
I believe a couple of other companies will issue this high as well.
If you are in Georgia, let me know.

I know that cheasapeake life will insure him up to age 85. Its a universal life product called the c-100. It works very well for the senior market. If you are in indiana or illinois let me know
