man, lisa thats a heavy one. i hope you are ok, and like lori stated, my prayers are also with you. I am not much of a detective type, but i can put my 2 cents in as every little bit helps. search around for any bills that may come into the house, orif you can, check his account to see if life insurance money was drafted out of his checking account or off of a credit-card. if he keeps a record of cancelled checks or bank statements laying around, check those. i hope you get out of this situation. i've been keeping up with a similar story right here in the midwest-chicago area. i think everyone know who i am talking about. A former police officer who is suspected of killing his ex-wife and getting a million dollars out of it on a life policy. Its going around

My Gosh! I hope you are ok as well. I thought I was just going to join in a discussion about insurance. I'm so glad to see these fine people answering your questions.

Money has become an influential factor these days and people tend to indulge in such ghostly act just for the sake of it. The above case is also one among the same and has to be strongly condemned by one and all.

Lisa, that's really bad and I hope it all goes well for you. You should contact a lawyer and let him take care of this. Since you are the victim your word should be heavier than his.

Lisa, I too hope all is well with you, you may want to keep a journal, so god forbid anything does happen you can point the finger right back at him. I hope that you stay in a safe place or have people around you all the time. He knows the law by working it and may have ways around it.

We recently had a police officer arrested after a year of investigation for breaking into a local dentist house and killing him. The police officer was dating the dentist ex wife and they were going through a costly divorce. The dentist was a descent guy who did not deserve this. He was worth more dead than alive to her. I think it is so discerning to all of us when someone we think is going to protect us and uphold the law starts breaking it, especially to this degree.

I will pray that you stay safe and that nothing happens to you. As far as the policy question, going to the district attorney and having them look into this was a very good idea, if anyone can find out this information it would be that office. Goodluck and I hope things work out for you.
