You can drive your friend's car with his permission and will be covered under his policy. As normally, the auto insurance is taken out on the car and follows the vehicle, anyone who drives the car or rides it as passenger is covered under the policy. But as he is banned from driving, I guess, he has lost his coverage also. Therefore, you will actually be driving his car without insurance. Under any circumstances, the car owner's insurance plays the primary role and your insurance will only be the supportive one.

Buddy……what does your policy say about driving other's car? Is there a clause which says that you will be covered under your policy while driving your friend's car?

Hi Lee-Bard, probably you haven't read the original post properly. Staceyb has already mentioned that he is covered to drive other's car.
Well, if you are insured to drive other's car you can drive your friend's car as well. But in this case, your policy will be considered as the primary one on the vehicle, which implies, that in case of an accident you need to pay for the damages caused.

First are you in the US?
What do you mean
but i am insured 2 drive other cars
So you have an non-auto owners policy or do you have a vehicle that is also insured? Although this friend (apparently) has lost their license, they also no longer have their vehicle insured? Little more information would be helpful...
