Depends on who you are, where you are, what your driving record is like, who is competative in the area, what type of Mercedes, etc. These are all unknown questions and one of the reason's why hundreds of insurance companies exist.

Have you tried using one of the many online websites to determine rates or spoken to a local agent?

HI Tanya.......... What year is the car? What type of mercedes is it?? Are you looking for full coverage or liability? What kind of comp and collision deductible are you looking for?

Do you really want the cheapest insurance if it's a nice car?? Have you read some of the other threads in this forum about the struggles that some people are having getting an auto insurance claim paid from a "cheap insurance company" ??

Do yourself a favor and dig a little deeper if you are going to be covering a big ticket car.

You will definately want to check the policy out, I switched because a company was running a promotion through my union, I had no problem with my old insurance company. I would just save about $200 a year by switching which I would not trade money for good coverage. I just had a piece of rebar hit my windshield and put a pretty descent hole in it, guess what, I USED to have glass on my old policy, apparently not on this one. A windshield is not a pricey item, a few hundred dollars, but I thought when I switched that the coverage was match, it wasn't. Please asked the million questions before deciding on what policy to take, no matter what make your car is.

Your insurance rates will depend more on your record than your make any way with that type of car, don't skimp, you will lose in the long run. goodluck.

There are to many factors to tell you which company would be the cheapest. Your best bet is to comparison shop. I'm currently an agent in NJ that represents about 7 companies you can email me or check out QuoteMatcher.com if your not in my area. You fill out the quote form you will get quotes back from a bunch of agents in your area. I currently buy leads from them in my area and I compete with about 4 other agents. This way you know your getting a good deal.

Your rate depends on you, your driving history and lost of other factors. IMO you can get the cheapest insurance from a smaller local company. When I got my first car and was shopping for insurance Geico offered me something like 800 for six months and a local Chicago company offered me 600 for a year.
