A beautiful metaphor

by atlantamonart » Mon Dec 03, 2007 01:35 am

What do you do if your neighbor's house is on fire, what a beautiful metaphor to describe what we, as an agent need to do. Thank you Insurance Maze, this has given me a paradigm to work with. I must say I have spend some time with couple of reputable financial institutes but none of them have given me as much as I have learned here on this site. Here truly I find support and information.

Okay now I have a paradigm to work with, but I still do not have the knowledge. So I think I am going to get series 6 and 63 first and then prospect. I really want to know what is offered to my prospect. Do you know where can I get some good on line courses on these? There is one which guarantees first pass. Also I was recommended prelicensing.com.

Also what is your suggested reading list?

Thank you for your time,
May

Nice to hear that. :D And your sincerity and affection towards this job profile is somewhat infectious. I am sure that the other members will also agree with me.

I hope you'll continue getting the support and guidance from the other experienced members of the forums as you have received in the past. I wish you all the luck and success. Take care and keep posting.

I cannot speak more highly of the American College theamericancollege.edu
Courses here are at a slightly higher level than those at Dearborn and can be applied to CLU, CHFC, CASL, or CFP designations.
The Dearborn courses are a "quick fix" for the CE credits neede to keep your license ( I have taken these myself). The others, however, are steps towards a more prestigious insurance education.
Keep up the good work and great attitude,
Mark

Thank you Mark, I checked their web site for the series 6 & 63, but could not get anything that I understand from it. All courses are abreviated like CLU,CFP ... and so on. Do you know which couses I need to take from them for series 6 & 63?

thank You
