Hi, i have been on disabilty do to depression, i have aflac, and now im realizing that they may not cover me. I would of never accepted going on disabiliy if i would of know that. But after the orginal dignosis, i also have tmj, some type of arthritius, and frozen shoulder and could of been taken out for that but dident know.

I'm sorry Tina what is your question? AFLAC is the company you want to collect the disability from and they may deny your disability is that what you are saying? When did you purchase the policy? When were you diagnosed disabled? I also don't understand something....you are either disabled or you're not....so when you say you wouldn't have accepted going on disability if you knew they wouldn't pay what does that mean? What EXACTLY has AFLAC said?

The post is not real clear, do you have a choice to be disabled or not? Never thought you had a choice, if the doctor says you are then that should be good enough for the insurance. Guess you will have to wait and see if she comes back Lori.

Please explain.........you had a choice to make the claim for some other disease. :? I'm not sure that any insurance carrier will allow you to choose the health condition you want the benefits for. If the doctor has declared you disabled for depression and your carrier doesn't cover it, you may not receive the benefits. It, I guess, is impossible to alter the cause and receive the claim for other symptoms once your claim is denied.
Please answers the questions the above poster has asked ans see if you receive further assistance from her.

My doctor says I'm disabled.
My xrays say I'm disabled.
My wallet says I'm fit for work. :roll:
