i dont think ill ever get rid of the pain from this but how long should i wait or do they have to cover me till whenever?

welcome to the forum, Please list a longer post with more detail on what your injuries are, what you have been treating for, how long have you been treating and how much longer you have to treat yet.
There are some really good people here who know their stuff when it comes to insurance claims, they will come along and ask you for a lot more detail, you will be able to get a head start if you start listing the information now. They will also want to know what state you are from? Has this affected your employment and a pile of other information. So just start writing down and posting every little detail you can think of so that when they post, they will have enough detail to help you out.

thanks goodnatured...we need way more info...when did hit happen, what happen, what are your injuries, what type of claim do you have (bi, um, pip)....but first off, i can tell you NO, they don't have to pay forever...(unless it's a health ins questions maybe)....

Ok, you need to give a lot more detail, read Lori's reply, she asked you a lot of important questions that she will need the answers to in order to give you help. So take a deep breath, relax and start from the beginning. From the date the accident happened and be as detailed as possible.

my accident was a year in october 07 i was rearended by the other driver first they tried to pay me off because it was a young kid who hit me and his parents didnt want thier insurance going up. my back was hurting and my grandson was hurting also due to the fact that i have heart problems and other health issues my son made me go to the hospitol just to be sure. well the er doctor said he thought it was wiplash and would go away follow up with my pcp. amonth later i ended up in the hospitol and had to have another stent put in my heart there is no medical eveidence that the wreck caused it but i think it is the reason. my shoulder where the seatbelt was was held stationary but the rest of me went forward ive been in pain ever since they are now testing for muscle tears,but i get the same symtoms from my heart so now i never know if its my shoulder from the wreck or my heart which is very scarey and if i start thinking about it i go into anxiety attacks or panic attacks i go to conseling already for depression not related to the car wreck.i just want to be able to know what is causeing the pain. no haveing the heart test done in the er never show when its my heart either, they always come back normal the last time i went in the test came back normal but my heart doctor sent me for a cath for precaution and i had 95 percent blockage, so i have no idea what is what unless they get my shoulder better ill always have this problem, and the worry isnt good either. what can i do?

Ask your doc this, (but I think I'm right) pain from your heart will ALWAYS (or nearly always) worsen with excertion, and perhaps travel...your doc will be able to give you some insite as to how you can figure out which is which...seriously, go see him or your heart center/heart rehab and talk with them specifically about this.....

I TOTALLY get this..I have a heart condition that can and has caused my heart to race up to and over 200 beats per minute...it's horrible, and if I can't get it stopped within a certain period of time, i have to go to the er, and the shot they give at the hospital is even worse, (doc NOT nurse have to administer, and it feels like someone dropped a car on your chest, it actually stops the heart-it's awful!)...just me typing this, (talking/thinking about it) is making me nervous so I understand totally...however, I don't see how we can expect any payment for this...see you have a pre-exsisting problem (your heart) if it weren't for that condition then there wouldn't be any of 'this' stress....(playing devils advocate here)...ok?

You of course should not settle this claim until you are certain that all that can be done to return you to your 'prior self' has been accomplished....with your other health issues you're right you may very well never be pain free...but you can't lump your heart condition on top of the injuries from the wreck ok? Answer my questions, let us know your test out come...please please contact your heart re-hab and go in and talk with them about this pain and how to determine it's source...
I don't know if this will help you or not, but will share it with you...it does generally provide some relief for me...i don't know if you are a spiritual man or not, suppose even if not would help...When I get all worked up about my heart, and the panic attacks start...i either try and get physically busy....even if it's just walking around the house fast...or I tell myself.., 'now really lori, if the good Lord is ready to take you home, do you have ANY control over it at all?, well of course I do not, there could be 500 of the best heart docs in the world standing right next to me, and if the Lord says it's time, it's time, and nothing will stop that'...including a panic attack! :P :wink: It works most of the time for me, and the physcial movement helps at the same time....
Let us know the additional information...and we'll see if we can be of further assistance...also, OP, what exactly is it you are wanting to know? I know you asked if they would pay until you are just out of pain...and I answered that...but specifically what are your questions...also they have already taken care of your vehicle damage right? and what about your grandson's injury?

im not trying to get them to pay for my heart i just dont want them to not pay for the ijury .

I do have a torn muscle in my shoulder but due to my heart the doctor doesnt think they will offer surgery as a option. my question is will i have to deal with this pain for the rest of my life and where does the insurance part end the tear is from the accident and the pain is from it but if they wont operate who responsible for the rest of my life pain?
