My boss hit my car. It was an accident and I understand that. Everyone makes mistakes, especially if they have way to much going on. my question is... I would like to know how much the insurance company is planing on paying me. My boss uses AAA as her insurance company the damage is worth about 2000 dollars and I live in Michigan. I drive a 96 monta carlo. I know it seams absurd to ask this question but I feel like my boss is trying to cheat me out of the money I should actually be getting. If anyone has any Idea of a general amount please let me know. I would rather know if I am right or not then to confront my boss and have it tern out as some huge mistake.

Good morning Shannan and welcome to the community!
Oh my gosh!
My boss hit my car.
I tell you what that opening line is worth a ton!I would like to know how much the insurance company is planing on paying me
You are talking about for the repair (or likely) total loss of your vehicle right? I need you to answer a few questions then we will be more than willing to do all we can to provide you with this information...Got the year and make of your vehicle need to know, mileage, is it a 2d z34 or 2door LS?, does it have a power sunroof (these are only options that apply to this vehicle at this age)...then what EXACTLY happend in the accident...the enitre facts of loss...
the damage is worth about 2000 dollars
Where did this number come from? Did an adjuster from AAA write an estimate or have you get estimates? Have you talked to an adjuster from AAA and what have they said? What makes you say this?but I feel like my boss is trying to cheat me out of the money I should actually be getting.
Doesn't sound funny to me at all and I've seen this time and time again in similar claims....but please explain where you come up with this conclusion...also there will/may be additional things you are entitled to, like rental now, and until either your vehicle is repaired or an offer of total loss has been made....please provide all the requested information and we can surely help you out with some information and advise!I would rather know if I am right or not then to confront my boss and have it tern out as some huge mistake.
I TOTALLY get this, and agree with you 100%...Posted: Fri Jan 11, 2008 04:54 am Post Subject: $2k
$2000 is not a very small...so it won't be wise to comment until I know the extent of the damage that you're talking about :) ValerieR

Quite relevant questions! But at the same time I'd also like to know about the condition of your 96 monta carlo prior to the mishap!
Hope you don't mind that,
